Fitball

Have you ever admired the ballet dancer or martial arts performer and noticed the sleek lines of the body and graceful flow of movements?  The fitness ball can help you achieve these goals by strengthening the entire body.  Exercising on the stability ball improves posture, flexibility and coordination as well as developing and strengthening deep core muscles.

By incorporating the ball into your exercise routine, you will firm and tone much faster than sitting on a stable exercise machine.  Because the ball is an unstable surface, your deep core muscles are recruited and stabilize larger muscles and you will burn more calories in your work out.

As your muscles work in harmony, the body is pulled back into proper alignment and posture is improved.  In a short period of time, the stability ball will help the body to work the way it was designed to work.

According to he American Heart Association's 46th Annual Conference on Cardiovascular Disease Epidemiology and Prevention, "Women who lift weights twice a week can prevent or at least slow the middle-aged spread."  Further, the American Heart Association reported that, "on average, women in the middle years of their lives gain one to two pounds a year and most of this is assumed to be fat."  By adding weight training at least twice a week, lean muscle mass may help to replace fat and further delay the declines of health that are related to aging.

Look younger and feeler younger by adding weight training and cardiovascular training to your life. What could be any easier and cost effective?
